LIVING IN THE CRISIS, FINAL STATEMENT TESTO IN ITALIANO, INGLESE SPAGNOLO E TEDESCO

Siamo attivisti e movimenti dell'area europea e mediterranea, riunitisi a Milano dal 13 al 15 giugno,  per costruire una Rete delle lotte per diritto alla casa per tutti e per il diritto alla città.  Consapevoli che le situazioni nei rispettivi paesi sono diverse, noi crediamo che la lotta sia la   stessa. La classe dirigente sta cercando di dividerci, costruendo muri tra il Sud ed il Nord, tra l'Est   e l'Ovest dell'Europa, tra i paesi della UE e quelli fuori dall'UE, tra nativi e migranti, tra persone cosiddette illegali e quelle cosiddette legali. Noi crediamo che la base di ogni movimento sia  transnazionale e l'unica differenza di cui ci preoccupiamo è quella tra l'1% dei potenti neoliberisti ed il 99% degli oppressi. Loro ci vogliono separati, ma ci troveranno uniti.
I governi europei e l'"austerità" propugnata dalle istituzioni finanziarie tagliano diritti e welfare, eliminando ogni possibilità di decidere il nostro futuro e qualsiasi accesso alle risorse. Con la crisi del neoliberismo abbiamo perso libertà e reddito, ma il neoliberismo si è imposto con forza ancora maggiore nella nostra stessa vita.  Per sconfiggere questo attacco contro le nostre vite dobbiamo lottare per noi stessi e per tutti, all'interno di movimenti sociali inclusivi ed a livello transnazionale.  Il nuovo insorgere del nazionalismo reazionario sfrutta il malcontento della gente colpita dal disagio della crisi, manipolando il risentimento verso la Banca Centrale Europea e verso le istituzioni tecnocratiche dell'Unione Europea. Noi rifiutiamo e respingiamo l'autoritarismo, il fascismo, il razzismo, il sessismo e ed ogni altro genere di discriminazione e di soppressione dei diritti: "Il passato è un futuro di merda". L'emergenza abitativa cresce massiccia di giorno in giorno in tutto il mondo. Ogni grande evento, ogni grande opera pubblica inutile crea nuove possibilità per la Rendita immobiliare di annullare l'ambiente urbano, al fine di costruirne un nuovo e più sfruttabile, senza tenere alcun conto delle   conseguenze per le persone.
Alcuni aspetti di questo processo globale interessano tutta l'area europea: non solo i più poveri e i senza tetto sono coinvolti, ma anche coloro che hanno acceso un   mutuo, le persone che non possono più restituire le somme prestate. La speculazione arricchisce le   istituzioni finanziarie e il mercato immobiliare ogni giorno di più, devastando i territori e sfruttando l'ambiente rurale e quello urbano. Lasciano case ed edifici vuoti, mentre milioni di persone   sono senza un tetto e sfruttano l'emergenza per ottenere nuovi profitti attraverso le imprese di costruzione (attraverso il cosiddetto programma di Social Housing, per esempio). Essi costruiscono sempre di più per espandere un business che genera profitto per i soliti pochi.  La lotta in città e nella metropoli per l'autodeterminazione dei territori e per politiche urbane giuste ed eque è dunque, oggi, una questione fondamentale. Abbiamo iniziato con i picchetti antisfratto ma non vogliamo limitarci alla difesa. Cerchiamo soluzioni per le nostre esigenze e risposte ai nostri desideri. Abbiamo conquistato nuovi spazi   di resistenza ed abbiamo guadagnato l'iniziativa dilagando ovunque. Noi non chiediamo solo   politiche pubbliche: vogliamo cambiare le nostre città dal basso attraverso il conflitto sociale, il mutuo soccorso e l'accesso diretto alle risorse. Non abbiamo bisogno solo di case, ma anche di   reddito, trasporti gratuiti, assistenza sanitaria, istruzione gratuita, servizi pubblici.
Lottiamo per la   trasformazione dei nostri quartieri e delle nostre città in territori resistenti dove la solidarietà rende possibile un nuovo mondo e un nuovo modo di vivere la metropoli.  Agiamo per nostro conto e facciamo affidamento sulla nostra forza politica, non sulle promesse dei 'politici'. Occupiamo edifici e case vuote, al fine di costruire esperienze di solidarietà all'interno di una società basata sul mutuo soccorso. Denunciamo le istituzioni della rendita immobiliare e le   banche attraverso manifestazioni e campagne di comunicazione. Riprendiamo lo spazio pubblico,   attiviamo e miglioriamo le reti di lotta.
Nel corso di questo incontro abbiamo deciso di proporre, attraverso un invito aperto a ogni   movimento ed a tutti gli attivisti, di unirsi a noi in queste due campagne:
1) Campagna europea contro lo sfratto.  Proponiamo di utilizzare un logo comune e un nome comune per questa campagna: Stop Eviction   - Take the city. Tutti possono partecipare a questa campagna, organizzando la resistenza contro gli   sfratti nelle loro città.
2) Settimana transnazionale di azioni contro banche e contro la rendita immobiliare per il diritto   alla casa per tutti e per il diritto alla città. Nella settimana dal 13 ottobre al 19 Ottobre, con una   giornata dedicata ad una manifestazione il 18 ottobre, organizzeremo manifestazioni, azioni dirette   e comunicative, segnalazione e occupazione delle case vuote.  Decentrate lo spazio, sincronizzate il tempo! Diffondete mediaticamente le vostre azioni e assemblee.
Invitiamo tutti, collettivi, reti, centri sociali, ovunque in tutta l'Europa e nel bacino del Mediterraneo e oltre, a entrare nella rete ed a prendere parte alla settimana di azione nella propria area.  Organizzeremo conferenze regolarmente (primo appuntamento alle Giornate Squatting di Amburgo) Sosteniamo idealmente tutte le mobilitazioni transnazionali, nazionali, locali contro la rendita immobiliare e la speculazione finanziaria, per il diritto alla casa e per l'auto-determinazione dei diversi territori.
Esprimiamo tutta la solidarietà ai Movimenti sociali che ora subiscono la repressione in Brasile e denunciano il lato oscuro della Coppa del Mondo FIFA: gli sfratti, la corruzione, la gentrification.  Noi abbracciamo con affetto e rabbia i compagni turchi che piangono un altro giovane ucciso dalla polizia di Erdogan.

We are activists and movements from European and Mediterranean area, meeting in Milan from  June 13th to June 15th, in order to build a network of the struggles for housing right for everybody and for the right to the city. Aware that the situations in our countries are different, we believe that the struggle is the same. The ruling class is trying to divide us, building walls between South and North, East and West Europe, between EU countries and not EU countries, between natives and migrants, between so-called legal and so-called illegal people. We believe that the base of any movement is transnational and the only difference we care about is between neoliberals powerful 1% and oppressed 99%. They want us separated, they will find us united.  European Governments and financial institution's "austerity" cut rights and Welfare, deleting any   chance to decide on our own future and any access to resources.

After the crisis of neoliberalism we have lost freedom and income, but neoliberalism itself was imposed even more strongly in our own life. In order to defeat this attack against our lives we have to fight for ourselves and for anyone in inclusive social movements at a transnational level. Resurgence of reactionary nationalism exploits suffering people's discontent, manipulating hatred toward European Central Bank and technocratic EU Institutions. We refuse and reject authoritarianism, fascism, racism, sexism and other kind of discrimination and suppression of rights: "The past, as future, is a mess". The housing emergency is growing massive day by day throughout the world. Any Big event   or Great public useless work creates a chance for Real Estate to cancel urban environment, in order to build a new and more exploitable one, no matter the consequences to the people. Some issues in this global process affect all European area: not only the poorest and the homeless are   involved, but also people who have taken out a mortgage, people who can't pay their rent longer....
The speculation enriches more and more every day financial institutions and Real Estate market, by   wasting territories and exploiting rural and urban lands. They let houses and buildings empty, while   millions people are homeless and exploit the emergency for gaining new profit through construction business (through the so-called Social Housing program, for example). They build more and more   to enlarge this business that generates profit for the same few persons. The fight in the city and metropolis for territories self-determination and fair and equal urban   policies is a basic issue, nowadays. We have started with Stop Eviction actions but we want more than only defending. We seek for solutions for our needs and answers for our desires. We have conquered new spaces of resistance, we spread everywhere offensively. We do not demand for public policies only: we want to change our cities from the grassroots through social conflict, mutual aid and direct access to resources. We don't need housing only, but also income, free transports, healthcare, free education, public services.
We fight for the transformation of our suburbs and cities in resistant territories where solidarity   makes a new world and a new way of living the metropolis possible. We act by ourselves, we rely on our own political strength, not on politicians' promises. We squat   abandoned buildings and empty houses, in order to build solidarity experiences inside a society based on mutual aid. We denounce public institutions and corporations of Real Estate and banks through demonstrations and communication campaigns. We take back the public space, we activate and improve networks of struggle. 

During this meeting we decided to propose, with an open call to every movements and activists, to join us in these two campaigns:
1) European campaign against eviction. We propose to use a common logo and a common name for this campaign: Stop Eviction- Take the city. Everyone can join this campaign, organizing the resistance against evictions in his own city.
2) Transnational week of actions against bank and Real Estate for housing for everybody and right to the city. In the week from October 13th to October 19th, with a day dedicated to a massive demonstration on October 18th, we will organize demonstrations, direct and communicative actions, marking and squatting empty houses.
Decentralize the space, synchronize the time! Broadcast your actions and sessions.

We invite everyone, collectives, networks, social centers, anywhere all around Europe and Mediterranean area and more, to take part in the network and take part in the week of action in their   local area. We will organize conference regularly (first appointment in the Squatting Days of Hamburg)  We ideally support all the local, national, transnational mobilizations against Real Estate and   financial speculation for housing rights and for self-determination of different territories.  We express all the solidarity with the social movement, facing repression in Brazil and denouncing   the dark side of the FIFA World Cup: evictions, corruption, gentrification.
We embrace with love and anger the Turkish comrades crying another young boy killed from Erdogan's police.

Somos activistas y movimientos de Europa y del area Mediterranea. Nos encontramos en Milán el 13 y el 15 de Junio para crear una red de las luchas por el derecho a una vivienda digna y por el derecho a la ciudad.
Sabemos que las situaciones en nuestros paises son diferentes, pero la lucha es la misma. Los poderosos ententan dividirnos, construyendo muros entre Sur y Norte, Este y Oeste de Europa, entre los paieses europeos y los paises extra-europeos, entre autocton@s y migrantes, entre lo@ que llaman legales y l@s que llaman ilegales. Creemos que la base de los movimientos son transnacionales. La única diferencia que nos impuerta es la entre los poderes neoliberalistas del 1% y l@s oprimid@s del 99%. Y si ellos ententan separarnos, van a encontrarnos  unid@s.Los gobiernos europeos y la "austeridad" propuesta por las instituciones financieras cortan derechos y estado social, borrando todas las oportunidades de decidir sobre nuestro futuro y el acceso a los recursos. Despues de la crisi neoliberalistas hemos perdido la libertad y los ingresos, mientras el neoliberismo mismo se impuse (y sigue imponiendose) siempre más en nuestras vidas. Para defendernos de ese ataque contra nuestras vidas tenemos que luchar para nosotr@s mism@s y para tod@s en un movimientos que sea inculsivo y transnacional. El retorno de
nacionalismos reaccionarios actua en el malestar de las poblaciones, manipulando el odio contra el Banco Central Europeo y las instituciones tecnocráticas europeas. Rechazamos autoritarismos, fascismos, racismos y todas las discriminaciones y supresión de los derechos: "El pasado es un futuro de mierda".
La emergencia habitacional está creciendo cada día más en todo el mundo. Cualquier gran evento o gran obra inútil crea una oportunidad para las agencias inmobiliarias de borrar y redactar el panorama urbano, con el fin de construir uno nuevo y más explotable, sin preocuparse de las consecuencias para las personas. Unas cuestiones en ese proceso global afectan a toda la area europa/mediterranea: no están involucrados solamente los más pobres o los que no tienen techo, sino también los que han tomado una hipoteca, o los que no pueden más pagar el alquiler.
Las especulaciones hacen cada día más ricas las instituciones financiera y el mercado inmobiliario, destruyendo territorios y explotando tierras rurales y urbanas. Dejan vacios vivienda y edificios, mientras milliones de personas no tienen un techo y explotan la emergencia para obtener beneficios a través de nuevos contractos y negocios de construcción (por ejemplo el programa llamado de "Vivienda Social"). Siguen construyendo para ampliar los negocios que generan beneficios cada vez por los mismos pocos.
Hoy la lucha en las ciudades y metrópolis para la autodeterminación de los territorios y para políticas urbanas justas y equitativas, es una cuestión básica. Hemos empezado por acciones de bloque de desalojos y desahucios pero los que queremos va más allá del defendernos. Buscamos soluciones para nuestras necesidades y respuestas a nuestros deseos. Hemos conquistado nuevos lugares de resistencia, hemos empezado a difundir nuestra ofensiva. No pedimos solo políticas públicas: queremos cambiar nuestras ciudades desde abajo, a través del conflicto social, del ayuda mutua y del acceso directo a los recursos. No necesitamos solo una vivienda, sino ingresos, transportes gratuitos, atención sanitaria, una educación libre, servicios públicos.
Luchamos para transformar nuestros barrios y ciudades en territorios resistentes donde la solidaridad construye un mundo y una forma de vivir las metrópolis nuevos y posibles.
Actuamos por nosotros mismos, nos basamos en nuestra propia fuerza política, no en las promesas de los políticos. Ocupamos los edificios abandonados y las viviendas vacias, para construir en la sociedad experiencias solidarias de ayuda mutua. Denunciamos a las instituciones públicas, a las grandes agencias inmobiliarias y a los bancos, a través manifestaciones y campañas comunicativas. Retomamos espacios públicos, activamos y desarrollamos redes de lucha.
Durante ese meeting, decidimos de proponer, con una convocatoria abierta a tod@s los movimientos y activistas, a unirse a nosotros en estas dos campañas:
1)  Una campaña europea contra desahucios y desalojos. Proponemos de utilizar un logo común así como un nombre común para esta campaña: Stop Eviction - Take the city. Tod@s pueden unirse en esta campaña, organizando acciones de resistencia a los desahucios y desalojos en sus ciudades.
2)  Una semana de acciones transnacionales contra bancos y grandes agencias inmobiliarias, por una vivienda digna para tod@s y por el derecho a la ciudad. En la semana desde el 13 hasta el 19 de Octubre, con un día dedicado a una manifestación masiva, organizaremos manifestaciones, acciones directas y comunicativas, señalaciones y ocupaciones de viviendas y edificios vacios.
¡Descentralizar el espacio, sincronizar la hora! ¡Difunde tus acciones y encuentros!
Invitamos a tod@s, colectivos, redes, centros sociales, en cualquier lugar en Europa, area Mediterranea y más, a participar a esa red y a la semana de acciones in su propia area. Vamos a organizar conferencias regulares (primera cita en Hamburgo con Squatting Days). Apoyamos idealmente todas la mobilitaciones locales, nacionales, transnacionales contra las grandes agencias inmobiliarias y la especulación financiera, por el derecho a una vivienda digna y por la autodeterminación de los diferentes territorios. Exprimimos toda nuestra solidaridad al movimiento social, frente a la represión en Brasil y denunciamos el lado oscuro de la Copa Mundial de la FIFA: los desalojos y desahucios, la corrupción, la gentrificación.

Wir sind Aktivist*innen und Vertreter*innen von Bewegungen aus Europa und dem Mittelmeerraum, die sich vom 13. bis 15. Juni in Mailand getroffen haben, um ein Netzwerk aufzubauen, das den Kampf um ein Recht auf Wohnen für alle ebenso umfasst, wie ein generelles Recht auf Stadt. Uns ist bewusst, dass unsere jeweilige Ausgangslage in unseren Ländern sehr unterschiedlich ist. Die Kämpfe und Auseinandersetzungen sind jedoch dieselben.
Die Politik der Mächtigen versucht uns zu spalten. Sie versucht künstliche Mauern zwischen Nord und Süd zu ziehen, zwischen Ost- und Westeuropa, zwischen Ländern in der EU und Ländern außerhalb der EU, versucht uns zu spalten zwischen Einheimischen und Migrant*innen, zwischen sogenannten legalen und sogenannten illegalen Menschen. Wir sind überzeugt, das die Grundlage jeder Bewegung grenzenlos ist und der einzige Unterschied, den wir im Auge haben sollten, der ist zwischen dem einen neoliberalen Prozent an der Macht und den 99% von ihnen Unterdrückten. Sie wollen und getrennt, aber sie werden sie uns vereint vorfinden.
Die Sparpolitik der Europäischen Regierungen und der Finanzinstitutionen beschneiden vorsätzlich unsere Rechte und soziale Netze, versperren den Zugang zu Ressourcen und so Wege zu einer selbstbestimmten Zukunft. Mit der Krise haben wir Freiheiten und Einkommen verloren, während der Neoliberalismus immer stärker in unsere alltäglichen Leben eingreifen kann. Um diesen Angriffen auf unsere Leben etwas entgegen zu setzen, müssen wir beginnen uns selbst und andere zu verteidigen und uns über Grenzen hinweg in sozialen Bewegungen zusammenfinden. Gleichzeitig versuchen dumpfe und reaktionäre nationalistische Strömungen die Not der Menschen zu nutzen und ihre Wut auf die Europäische Zentral Bank und die technokratischen EU-Strukturen zu manipulieren. Wir verweigern uns autoritätsgläubigen, faschistischen, rassistischen, sexistischen Tendenzen und anderen Formen von Diskriminierungen und den Versuchen unsere Rechte zu beschränken, mehr noch, wir bekämpfen sie: „Eine Zukunft, die wie die Vergangenheit aussieht ist nicht unsere.“
Während die Wohnungsnot vor unseren Augen weltweit Tag für Tag wächst, schaffen erfundene Großereignisse und sinnlose Magaevents, angeblich zum Wohle der Allgemeinheit, Gestaltungsfläche in urbanen Regionen ausschließlich für Spekulanten und die Immobilienindustrie, um deren Hunger nach verwertbaren Neubauten zu stillen, egal was es für Konsequenzen für die Bevölkerung hat. Einige Tendenzen dieses globalen Prozesses sind nun in ganz Europa zu spüren: Längst sind nicht nur die Ärmsten und Obdachlosen von Wohnungsnot betroffen, sondern auch mehr und mehr Menschen, die Hypotheken aufgenommen haben und diese nicht mehr bedienen können oder Menschen die schlicht ihre Miete nicht mehr zahlen können.ù
Gleichzeitig bereichert die Spekulation mit jedem Tag die Finanzinstitutionen und den Immobilienmarkt, auch durch den gezielten Verfall ganzer Territorien und die verschwenderische Ausbeutung von ländlichen und urbanen Flächen. Sie lassen auf der einen Seite Millionen von Häusern, Wohnungen und Gebäuden leer stehen, während Millionen Menschen ohne Bleibe sind. Nur um diese Notsituation zur Steigerung ihrer
Profite zu nutzen, die sie (z.B. mit dem sogenannte öffentlich geförderten sozialen Wohnungsbau) aus Wohnungsbauprogrammen ziehen können. So wird mehr und mehr gebaut, jedoch nur für den Profit einiger weniger. In diesen Tagen ist deshalb der Kampf in den Städten und Metropolen für und um selbstbestimmte Räume und eine faire und gerechte Stadtentwicklung ein Grundwert. Wir haben mit Aktionen gegen Zwangsräumungen angefangen, aber wir wollen viel mehr als uns immer nur zu verteidigen. Wir suchen nach Lösungen für unsere
Bedürfnisse und nach Antworten auf unsere Sehnsüchte. Wir haben uns neue Räume des Widerstandes erschlossen und wir verbreitern uns offensiv und überall. Wir setzen längst nicht mehr allein auf Forderungen an die Politik: Wir wollen unsere Städte von der Basis her ändern, durch soziale Auseinandersetzungen, nachbarschaftliche Unterstützung und den direkten Zugang zu den Ressourcen. Und wir brauchen nicht nur Wohnraum, wir brauchen Einkommen, kostenfreien Nahverkehr, Gesundheitsvorsorge, Bildung ohne Kosten und freie öffentliche Dienstleistungen. Wir kämpfen für eine Veränderung von den Randbezirken bis zu den Stadtzentren in widerständige Gebiete, in denen solidarisches Miteinander, ein anderes Leben und eine andere Umwelt in den Metropolen möglich ist. Wir handeln selbstbestimmt, wir vertrauen dabei mehr auf unsere eigene politische Stärke, als auf die Versprechen von Politiker*innen.
Wir besetzen verlassene Gebäude und leerstehende Häuser auch, um Erfahrungen mit solidarischen Systemen zu machen und um zu zeigen, dass ein Leben auf der Basis von Nachbarschaftshilfe funktioniert. Wir entlarven dabei auch die Pläne von Politik, Verwaltung und Immobilienindustrie durch Demonstrationen und Kampagnen. Wir nehmen uns den öffentlichen Raum zurück und entwickeln und verbessern die bestehenden Netzwerke. Auf unserem Treffen haben wir beschlossen, alle Aktivist*innen und Bewegungen aufzurufen sich diesen beiden Kampagnen anzuschließen:
1. Eine Europäische Kampagne gegen Zwangsräumungen. Als gemeinsames Logo und Namen schlagen wir vor: Stop Eviction – Take the City (Stopp Zwangsräumungen – Nehmt Euch die Stadt). Jede*r kann sich dieser Kampagne anschließen und lokal den Widerstand in seiner/ihrer Stadt organisieren.
2. Eine transnationale Aktionswoche gegen Banken und Immobilienwirtschaft und für das Recht auf Wohnen für alle und das Recht auf Stadt. Inder Woche zwischen dem 13. und 19. Oktober 2014. Dabei soll es am 18. Oktober überall zu lokalen Großdemonstrationen kommen. Diese Woche wollen wir mit Demonstrationen, direkten und kommunikativen Aktionen, Leerstandsmarkierungen und Besetzungen füllen. Macht dezentrale Aktionen zur gleichen Zeit. Verbindet und verbreitet Eure Aktionen und Treffen.
Wir laden jede*n Einzelne*n, jedes Kollektiv, jedes Netzwerk, jedes soziale Zentrum überall in Europa und dem Mittelmeerraum und darüber hinaus ein, sich diesem Netzwerk anzuschliessen und sich mit lokalen Aktionen an dieser Aktionswoche zu beteiligen. Wir werden regelmässig zu Treffen aufzurufen (das erste wird am Rande der Squatting Days 27. – 31.8. in Hamburg stattfinden).
Wir solidarisieren uns mit jeder lokalen, transnationalen Mobilisierung gegen die Immobilienindustrie und die Finanzspekulation und für das Recht auf Wohnen und das Selbstbestimmungsrecht von unterschiedlichen Territorien.
Wir solidarisieren uns auch mit den sozialen Bewegungen in Brasilien, die massiven Repression ausgesetzt sind, weil sie die dunkle Seite der FIFA-WM anprangern: Eine Welt aus Korruption, Verdrängung, Gentrifizierung Wir sind auch bei unseren Türkischen Genoss*innen und senden ihnen unsere Liebe, Solidarität, Wut und Kraft. Wir trauern mit ihnen um das Leben eines Jungen, getötet von der Polizei Erdogans.
